This product contains live Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae Strain RM48. The live bacterial count is no less than 5×10⁷ CCU per dose.

【CHARACTER】

Off-white or pale yellow spongy loose mass, easily detached from the bottle wall and rapidly soluble after adding a diluent.

【INDICATIONS】

For the prevention of swine enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae infection in pigs. The immune duration lasts 6 months.

【DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION】

Dilute the vaccine with sterile PBS (0.01 mol/L, pH 7.2) to 1 dose per mL according to the dose specified on the bottle label before use.

  1. Thoracic Cavity Inoculation: For healthy pigs aged over 30 days. Insert the needle into the intercostal space approximately 2 cm posterior to the posterior border of the right scapula, and inject 1 mL of vaccine into the thoracic cavity per pig.

  2. Nasal Inoculation: For healthy piglets around weaning. Spray 2 mL of the vaccinedeep into the nasal cavity during the pig’s inhalation per pig.

For use only under veterinary supervision.

Advantages & Highlights

  1. High viable bacteria content with strong immunogenicity:Adopts high-quality attenuated RM48 strain with viable bacteria content ≥5×10CCU per dose. It efficiently activates immune response, rapidly builds a respiratory mucosal protective barrier and prevents swine enzootic pneumonia.

  2. Dual inoculation methods for flexible operation: Supports both intrathoracic injection and nasal spray. Suitable for pigs over 30 days old and weaning piglets respectively, adapting to different pig ages and farm immunization habits.

  3. Long-lasting protection reduces respiratory losses: Provides 6-month stable immunity after standard vaccination, reducing cough, asthma and growth retardation caused by repeated mycoplasma infection, lowering respiratory disease rate and improving weight gain performance.

  4. High safety with extremely low stress: Adopts mild stable attenuated strain with no severe adverse reactions after vaccination. The alternative nasal inoculation method effectively avoids immune risks and ensures safe vaccination for all healthy pigs.

  5. High drug compatibility and low immunization threshold:Penicillin, streptomycin and sulfonamides do not affect vaccine efficacy. No large-scale drug suspension is required, which fits conventional farm medication systems.

  6. Diversified specifications and cost-effective storage: Six specifications meet the needs of farms of all scales. Storable below -15℃ with an 18-month shelf life, featuring long inventory cycle and low stocking pressure.

FAQ

Q: What type of vaccine is this? What disease does it prevent?

A: This is a live vaccine for swine mycoplasma pneumonia (Strain RM48), a non-prescription veterinary drug, specially used to prevent swine enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.

Q: What inoculation methods are available? What are the applicable pig groups and operation requirements?

A: Two inoculation methods are available. Intrathoracic injection (1ml/head) for healthy pigs over 30 days old; nasal spray (2ml/head) for piglets before and after weaning, spray deep into the nasal cavity during inhalation.

Q: How long is the immune protection period? What farm problems can it solve?

A: The immune period lasts up to 6 months after standard vaccination. It effectively prevents mycoplasma infection, reduces cough, asthma, slow growth and high feed-to-meat ratio, and improves breeding economic benefits.

Q: What are the medication taboos before and after immunization?

A: Except for penicillin, streptomycin and sulfonamides, other mycoplasma therapeutic drugs are prohibited from 3 days before to 2 weeks after vaccination to avoid inhibiting viable vaccine bacteria and affecting immunity.

Q: What are the validity period after dilution and basic vaccination requirements?

A: Only healthy pigs can be vaccinated. Use the vaccine within 2 hours after dilution to guarantee viable bacteria activity. Strictly disinfect the body surface and replace needles for each pig during intrathoracic inoculation.
