ZYBT(Jilin Zhengye Biological Products Co., Ltd. ) was listed on the Nasdaq on January 7, 2025, becoming the first Chinese animal health company to be listed on the Nasdaq. The company is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, Northeast China. Formerly the Harbin Veterinary Biopharmaceutical Factory under the Ministry of Agriculture, it is one of China's earliest animal biological product companies, with a history of over 50 years.

The company operates 14 GMP-certified animal biological product production lines, including cell suspension culture and recombinant subunit vaccine production lines. Its products cover swine, poultry, cattle, sheep, and pets, and it currently holds more then 50 product licenses. The company has obtained 17 new veterinary drug registration certificates, including two National Class I New Veterinary Drugs Certificates. It has also been granted 14 invention patents and 41 utility model patents. The Animal Experiment Center, which opened in October 2015, is one of the first and largest intelligent animal experiment and testing platforms in Northeast China.

The company's various livestock and poultry vaccine products have been successfully exported to countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Vietnam. In April 2020, the company was awarded the honorary title of "Jilin Province Animal Biological Products Export Demonstration Enterprise."

Over 50 Years of History

1949

Harbin Veterinary Biological Pharmaceutical Factory affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture was founded.
1970

Pursuant to national official instructions, the plant was moved from Harbin to Jilin City, establishing Jilin Provincial Biological Products Factory.
2004

Completed SOE restructuring and renamed as Jilin Zhengye Biological Products Co., Ltd.
2013

ZYBT obtained the certification of "National High-tech Enterprise" for the first time.
2016

ZYBT was listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) in China.
2020

Marked the 50th anniversary of the factory’s establishment and the founding of Jilin Province’s veterinary biological products industry.
2021

Granted the Veterinary Vaccine Sales License by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.
2022
