This vaccine is used for immunization of sows in late gestation. Newborn piglets obtain passive immunity via colostrum to prevent piglet enterotoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens Type A and Type C infections.
Administer via intramuscular injection. Dilute the vaccine with 20% aluminum hydroxide gel and normal saline solution according to the specified doses on the bottle label and shake thoroughly. Immunize pregnant sows twice before farrowing, once at 35–40 days' prenatally and once at 10–15 days' prenatally, with 1 dose (2.0 mL) per vaccination.
