Advantages & Highlights

  1. Classic AV41 attenuated strain for broad-spectrum pox prevention: Adopts high-quality stable CVCC AV41 attenuated strain with mild virulence and excellent immunogenicity. It prevents both goat pox and sheep pox, solving typical problems such as skin rashes, fever, ulceration and slow growth in flocks.

  2. Unified standard dosage for efficient on-site operation: A fixed 0.5ml dosage per sheep regardless of age and size eliminates complicated weighing and dosage adjustment, supporting simple, fast and large-scale batch vaccination.

  3. Precise intradermal injection with low immune stress: Intradermal injection at the hidden inner tail root or thigh causes minimal stimulation and trauma, with no impact on feeding and growth performance, meeting the needs of refined breeding and epidemic prevention.

  4. High-quality freeze-dried formulation for uniform vaccination: The loose sponge-like mass dissolves rapidly and completely after dilution without caking or residue, ensuring accurate immune dosage and uniform flock antibody level.

  5. Ultra-long shelf life for high cost performance: Stored below -15℃ with a 24-month ultra-long validity period, which reduces vaccine loss and stocking pressure, suitable for long-term daily reserve of all-scale sheep farms.

FAQ

Q: What type of vaccine is this? What diseases does it prevent?

A: This is a live goat pox vaccine (Strain CVCC AV41), a non-prescription veterinary drug, used to prevent both goat pox and sheep pox, serving as an essential basic vaccine for sheep farms.

Q: What are the immune onset time and protection duration?

A: Effective protective immunity is produced 4–5 days after standard vaccination, with an immune duration of up to 12 months, providing full-year stable protection for the whole breeding cycle.

Q: Can pregnant ewes be vaccinated? What are the precautions?

A: Use with caution in pregnant ewes. If vaccination is necessary, operate gently and avoid rough handling and severe stress to prevent mechanical abortion and ensure the safety of ewes and fetuses.

Q: Is emergency vaccination available during sheep pox outbreaks?

A: Yes. It can be used for emergency vaccination of all healthy uninfected sheep during pox epidemics to quickly establish herd immunity and block disease spread.

Q: What is the usage time limit after vaccine opening and dilution?

A: The opened and diluted vaccine must be completely used up on the same day. Overnight use is prohibited to avoid virus activity attenuation and immune failure.

Q: How to conduct harmless disposal of vaccine wastes?

A: All wastes such as residual vaccine, used vaccine bottles and inoculation appliances must be uniformly collected and harmlessly disposed of in accordance with veterinary epidemic prevention specifications to eliminate biosafety risks.
